Do I have to download any software?

No. Tout is a web-based service. All you need is your web browser.

Can you integrate into my e-mail client?

No. That is way too complicated. Tout is designed to be a simple tool to help you quickly send out pitches to potential customers. We feel the website does this beautifully.

Is my data backed up in case of an emergency?

Yes, data is backed up nightly and written to multiple disks instantly. We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency. Our hardware is hosted in the cloud and fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails, nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%.

Is Tout reliable, secure, and confidential? Is my data safe? Where is the data hosted?

We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. We utilize Amazon's cloud infrastructure and storage technology to reliably host our applications.

Who can see my pitches? Do you read them?

Your privacy and security is our #1 priority. Only you will be able to view what goes on in your account. No one else (including employees of Tout) are allowed to view your data.

Can I install Tout on our own server?

We don't offer installable versions of Tout. We maintain the servers, the security, and all the updates/improvements so you don't have to worry about anything.

Do you provide phone support?

We provide unlimited support via email for our paying customers, but we don't provide support over the phone. We do our best to respond to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. Your emails always get answered by an owner. We do not outsource our support overseas or employ low paid, unqualified support staff.

Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees?

There are no fees related to Tout. You can cancel your account at any time.
